Interviews with Deer Lake Seniors are transcribed and are available upon request.
Pathways Through the Ages summarizes the information by telling Deer Lake's story from 1927 to 1957 through the life stages of the fictional Janes' family.

- Summer Voices: a variety of collaborative events for people of all ages:
Pictures & Words: Artists, Authors and Publishers participate in a three-day event. Art is exhibited. Authors read original work. Books are available for sale.
Special events for younger creative people: Examples: Waves and Words; Drama workshops: Open Mic for Youth; Movie: 8 Ball; Sounds of Youth

- Providing contact with the national organization, the Writers Union of Canada
